Wild Deadwood Reads 2026

The ninth Annual Wild Deadwood Reads event in Deadwood, South Dakota in 2026 is sure to be as exciting as the first seven events in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. We will again be at the beautiful Lodge at Deadwood. And in 2026, we’re thrilled to bring you more authors, more events, and more opportunities to see the amazing sights in Deadwood and the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Our multi-author, multi-genre Book Fair is just one of the exciting events happening next June. We’ve got the PBR rodeo, a basket raffle to support a local nonprofit organization, Breakfast with the Authors, a fun evening enjoying libations while listening to authors reading their favorite scenes from their books, and much more.
