Fall Into Books Fest was founded in 2024 by Ayesha of Heartbound Bookshop @heartboundbookshop, and author Emily B. Rose @emilybrosewrites of Azurose Designs @azurose.designs. It began with a friendship cultivated by two small bookish business owners based out of Anaheim, CA that want to bring more diverse and financially accessible events to the SoCal community. Emily and Ayesha also loved the idea of a Fall themed book festival, reminiscent of fall festivals and the scholastic book fairs we all loved as kids. And as two women of marginalized identities, with a passion for uplifting the voices most often unrepresented, Fall Into Books Fest was born. As of November 2025, Fall Into Books Fest is continued on by Author Emily B Rose @emilybrosewrites, bookseller Cricket @ckd_unfiltered, and book lover Christiana @thebookworm.therapist. As a team, they strive to make Fall Into Books Festival a fun, affordable way to build community between book lovers, bookish vendors, and the authors we all love.
