The Payback

She’s hunting killers. He’s watching her every move.

Sage

The day the mafia murdered my boyfriend, I locked my heart away. Since then, I’ve dedicated my life to one thing: revenge.

So, when Brandon Lewis moves in across the hall, I don’t have time to be distracted by his killer smile and those slutty little glasses. Not when I’m so close to reaching my goal. Not when every move I make could be my last.

Then the mafia catches me spying on them. Instead of killing me, they do something worse. They recruit me at gunpoint.

Now I’m stuck working for the mob while my infuriating new neighbor watches me through cameras and appoints himself my bodyguard. The audacity would be easier to hate if Brandon weren’t exactly what I need.

Elite hacker. Ex-black ops. Just as ruthless as the monsters I’m up against.

He claims he wants to help me get justice and keep me safe. But the more time I spend with Brandon, the more impossible it becomes to keep my guard up, because the real threat isn’t what he can do to my enemies.

It’s how dangerously easy it would be to fall for him.
