I thought winning in court meant I could finally wash my hands of my past. Turns out, I was wrong. When I’m handed an assignment to kill eight people in four weeks, it’s clear that some things never change.

Working both sides of the law is a balancing act I never wanted. The gang’s leader wants those eight people alive, turning what should be a clean job into a mercy mission—one that’s bound to cause problems at the Capitol.
