The truth hurts…for those who inflict it.

I’ve been lied to long enough.

And when the untruths spill from the lips of those I trusted? Anyone who still thinks I need safeguarding clearly hasn’t seen what I’m capable of.

See, my definition of ‘family’ has changed. Those who share my blood have been far too keen to spill it. Now Dante, Ares, Nico — these hot-blooded, protective mobsters to whom I surrender every inch of my body — are the only family I will ever answer to.

And anyone who attempts to separate us will die.

I know they never wanted me to get lost in their sordid, bloody games. But I’m no longer on the sidelines. I know the rules.
