When my sister, who was also my PA, announced she was pregnant and would be going on maternity leave, I wondered how I would survive. A whole twelve months without my right-hand woman, the only person who kept me in line.
However, she had it all planned out. I should never have doubted her. Her best friend was back in town after a bad breakup with her fiancé. She had office experience and needed a job, so of course, I was expected to hire her on the spot.
So, that was how I found myself on a plane, with my gorgeous new PA, Melissa Chambers, heading to a business meeting in Paris. The catch? For the whole weekend, we had to pretend to be engaged and hopelessly in love.
