The Keeper Of The Kingdom

As the daughter of the Healer on High, my life was on course to become his successor.

That was until a dragon came out of nowhere and claimed me as his ryder.

But it can’t happen. I’m an academic, not a dragon ryder.

But more than that, I have to figure out where all the magic in the kingdom is going. 

It’s slipping away and I’m the only one who seems to notice.

Now we’re fighting a war on two fronts and we won’t have enough power to win unless I can find out where it’s all going.

But my focus is pulled away because Nyx is crumbling and if I can’t heal him, we might lose him and lose everything else in the process.

I’m drowning. I can’t fix it all alone.

Then help comes from and unlikely source. From a dragon. My dragon.

Jaxus is not at all what I expected him to be.

There’s intelligence rolled in with all that muscle and I don’t know what to make of him.

All I can do is accept his help and hope that together we can find the key to saving the twelve kingdoms before we lose it all.
