The Illusions of Innocence

When this woman walked into my home, I had no clue what to expect. She was quiet; demure, even. Sweet-natured and compliant. 

Then he happened. The one guy I’ve competed against for years started targeting her. 

She sat back, taking everything he orchestrated to hurt her. Even though I’m pissed at him, I still feel drawn to him. Almost like he needs me as much as I need him.
