Emmerson

We thought we had it all.

We’ve been best friends ever since we were twelve years old.

We were each other’s firsts…Then we grew up.

Taylor James is my everything, he’s also just signed a new, multi-million-dollar contract to play in the NHL and we’re fresh out of college.

He’s been working toward this his whole life.

Everything has centered around hockey.

And then there’s me. The girl he loves.

The girl who will do anything for him, including inadvertently breaking his heart.

When you love someone, do you love them enough to let them go? Even if it breaks you in the process?

Taylor

We met as kids; I took her under my wing when she moved to Seattle.

Prom came along and I saw her as something more than my best friend.

She was there for everything. She encouraged me every step of the way, even the times I doubted myself.

And when my big break came, I expected she would follow.

I wanted her with me every moment.

I thought the bond we had just couldn’t be broken. But how wrong I was.

Things took an unexpected turn.

And I never knew how much my heart could shatter from the one I love the most…

THE PUCK PACT is a short prequel into Taylor and Emmerson’s story and ends on a cliffhanger. The same couple’s story concludes in THE PUCK PROMISE, book 1 in my Seattle Hawks Ice Hockey romance series.
