text-align: justify;">Wren has been assigned Goldilocks and the Three Bears. You know the tale of the delinquent child who breaks and enters, vandalizes, and squats in a stranger's home. Three bears come along and she runs away without any consequences. The only thing Wren has going for her is that the tale has only recently been broken. And yet, it has been dubbed “toxic” by the Operators of DeadEnd because of the blood shining through on all the pages. Goldilocks needs to be fixed. Quite rapidly, it has become so toxic that every Goldilocks story in the real world is being transformed into something entirely not child-friendly.

After training for years and studying every re-telling of… oh, wait. Her fairy tale has suddenly been changed in the last four months by the Operators and she’s thrust into a world she’s not prepared for. Well… the forest she steps into is certainly bloody. She also finds that there’s a band of girls, calling themselves the Women of Chaos, who are trying to rid the story of the bears. They’re rumored to be demons, cruel and unforgiving.

But then, stories get crossed and she’s not sure what to believe. Because the three giant grizzly bears that walk into her life (okay, their band abducts her) aren’t bears at all, but men who shift into bears. And they’re telling her that she is their fated mate. That was something she did not sign up for! Nor is she willing to go to bed with them simply because they claim she belongs to them.

Everything is going rather… well, sucky if she did say so. It isn’t until one of the bears the girls warned her about tries to leave her in the margins to be torn about by the nightmares that live there that she realized the fairy tale she’d been sent in to fix is actually infected by another…
