Leighton Bergmont never planned to return to Ohio. That part of her life was over; that version of her was long gone. The death of her parents, however, threw her into a pit of despair that the dream job she’d worked so hard to attain couldn’t pull her from. Unable to watch the descent, Leighton’s best friend convinced her to pack up her life and move back to Columbus, home to her alma mater.
