Leaving Greece was hard for me. It was the only home I’d ever known, but at least I had my family. Turns out Lake Renegade gave me far more than I ever expected. I have gained more family, more friends and more experiences. But I still felt like something was out there waiting for me. Three motorcycles come roaring onto the property and my bear feels her before I see her. My mate. When we find out why she’s here, my anger boils and all my protective instincts come online. I know she’s been hurt before, but I’ll show her where she belongs, right here with me.

I didn’t want to leave my home, but they left me no choice. My family is gone, used for their venom and discarded. I did the only thing I could do, I fled. I took my siblings and ran to the 2 families I knew would be able to help because they’ve done it before. I was expecting to have to answer questions and plead with them to help. What I was not expecting was a polar bear growling “MINE” and begging me to stay. With so many unanswered questions, I don’t know what’s going to happen. But I can say with certainty that that bear is mine and I’m never letting him go.
