Everything I thought I knew about my life was a lie. Twenty-Three years of not knowing who I truly am. Can you say trust issues? I’m just starting to figure out who I am. I’m not ready to add anyone else to the mix. Then I meet Declan. He pushes his way into my life, determined to prove to me that not everyone is a liar. But he’s a hockey player and they all have a certain reputation. And his seems like a constant presence in our lives. I want to learn to trust again, I’m just not sure it’s worth the risk.

Hockey has been my focus for as long as I can remember. The day I met Giovanna, my life changed. Hockey would always be my first love, but I just knew that she would be my last. I can see the walls she has built around her heart. She’s scared, and my past is haunting us (literally), but I’m determined to show her that I’m real. That we’re real. And that no matter how long I have to wait, I’m not going anywhere.
