Isolde Adebayo is confident that joining her friends’ plan to save the world was a mistake.

She hadn’t fully been convinced of the plan when they broke out of the school, and nobody had warned her about how much hiking they would have to do. However, after convincing the rest of the group to make a pit stop in her hometown of Moonsbreach, she discovers her parents aren’t the saints she had always believed them to be.

As Isolde starts to dig into the Council’s secrets, more and more terrifying truths rise to the surface. And with those truths comes a question: is it possible the Obsidian Accord could be right?
